Hancerz Ad Blocker does not collect, store, transmit, or sell your personal data. All operations happen locally on your device. We do not maintain servers to process your web traffic, nor do we track your browsing history.

To function properly, the Extension stores your ad-blocking preferences (such as your global "on/off" state and any specific websites you have chosen to allowlist). This data is saved strictly locally on your device using Chrome's local storage and is never sent to HNZ Lab or any third party.

3. Permissions Justification

To fulfill our single purpose, the Extension requires specific permissions from your browser. Here is exactly why we need them:

• declarativeNetRequest: Required to apply our static and dynamic network rules that automatically block ad-serving and tracking domains before they can load on your screen. This modern API ensures we can block ads without reading the content of your web traffic.

• activeTab: Required to read the domain name (URL) of the specific tab you are currently viewing only when you click the extension icon. This allows you to easily allowlist or block ads on the specific site you are visiting.

• storage: Required to save your custom site allowlist and your global on/off preferences locally on your device so the extension remembers your choices the next time you open your browser.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

Because we do not collect your personal data, we have nothing to share.

• We do not sell your data to data brokers.

• We do not share your data with advertisers.

• We do not use your data for credit checks, lending, or any unrelated purposes.

5. Changes to This Policy

Under Google's Limited Use policy, if we ever change how this Extension handles your data, we will proactively notify you before those changes take effect.
